Wendy Dolin spoke at the Amygdala Notes event last weekend. This is a concert and conversation series that explores and reimagines approaches to mental health by using music as an access point. Wendy spoke and participated in a question and answer series from the audience. Between the conversations musicians entertained with beautiful music.

In honor of this week, we would like to thank all our supporters, followers, and donors who help bring the MISSD message of akathisia awareness to the world. Without all of you, we wouldn’t be able to make people aware of the dangerous side effects of many medications, which can ultimately lead to suicidal thoughts and actions. When you or someone you know stops, starts, or changes the dosage of a medication, please be aware of behavioral changes that can lead to suicide, self-harm and violence. If you ever need to speak to a confidential phone line for help please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline 1-800-273-8255.
